Hsinchu State Library

Hsinchu State Library Hsinchu state library previously was Hsin Chu street library; it was built to remember Japan eastern palace prince imperial Hirohito Taishi who ever visited Taiwan. The library finished in 1925, and renamed as ' Hsin Chu state library'.  
 
After Taiwan restoration, the government of Republic of China took over and named as ' Hsin Chu library', after , its name changed again as Hsin Chu county library. 
 
The building of the library was a western style building, designed simply and effectively. Outsides the wall, the decorative brick lines impressed the building solemnly and heavily. The veranda of upper floor was arranged with rows of short shuttle pillars to hold the roof and created a lighter feelings , contrast with the heavy lower part of the building.
