In early time, people get their financial fund from kind of mutual trust association. Janpanese Niihara Tarou established Hsin Chu Saving Association in 1909, on the base of mutual helpness, the member saved money everyday to create bigger fortune for the association , and the association made interest for the members. The saving association reformed as Hsin Chu Mutual Trust Association in 1913, next year, it moved into the building on the TaTung road nowadays. After Taiwan Restoration from Japan, it renamed as Hsin Chu First Trust Bank.Hsin Chu mutual trust association was a three-floor building. The entrance was on the corner. The first floor was the business hall, second floor for staff office.  
 
The designer used continuous parallel lines to create the classical touch of the round arch windows. All parallel lines broke on the central upper of the entrance; outstood the existence of the entrance. Three round arch windows with huge circle lines above created the character of the building, and impressed people at the first sight.
