Hsinchu high school was founded in 1922, at the very beginning; it borrowed the classrooms from Hsin Chu public first high school, and moved to the present place, eighteen top mountains in 1925. The ken do hall was built next year for gymnasium and students to practice ken do, and the ken do team of Hsin Chu high school became very famous the whole island.  
 
Not big in scale, the ken do hall was made of wood frame, brick wall and ceramic roof. The roof was muti-lapping, the profile of the wall looked like a peak of moutain, which was different from the ordinary western building. 
 
High quality demanded while it was constructed , its unique style created a classical taste. now the roof had been changed into steel board, but still could sense that its gerneral concept of beauty as it was.
